Our Selection of Magnetron Tubes for Sale

Our magnetron tubes include continuous-wave models for industrial processing and pulsed models for linear accelerators.

915 MHz CW Magnetrons (75 kW and 100 kW)

Our CWM-75 and CWM-100 models provide 75 kW and 100 kW of continuous output, respectively, at 915 MHz. Applications include food tempering, drying, curing, and materials processing.

S-Band Pulsed Magnetrons (3.1 MW Peak)

The MG7095 operates at 2993-3002 MHz with 3.1 MW peak output for linear accelerator applications. It features mechanical tuning and water cooling. Its peak power rating should not be compared directly with the continuous output ratings of our CW magnetron tubes.

How to Specify a Replacement Magnetron

Start with the part number on your existing tube and a clear photo of its markings. To help us match the replacement to your equipment, include:

  • Operating frequency and power rating.
  • Whether the tube runs continuously (CW) or in pulses.
  • Mounting dimensions and waveguide connections.
  • Cooling requirements.

For pulsed models, we’ll also need the pulse width, modulator details, and the part number of any separate magnet. If you’re unsure of these specifications, we can review your equipment manual or a datasheet from your magnetron transmitter manufacturer.

Magnetron Tubes Pricing and Lead Times

Pricing and Refurbishment Options

The cost of a magnetron depends on the model and whether you’re buying a new or refurbished tube. We offer core-exchange refurbishment for our CWM-75 and CWM-100 models.

For current pricing on a magnetron for sale, request a quote with your part number and quantity. We usually respond on the same business day.

Availability and Shipping

For tubes in stock, we aim to ship within two days. This is our dispatch target; delivery time depends on the destination and shipping method.

For refurbished or out-of-stock magnetron tubes, contact us for availability and a lead-time estimate.

Contact Penta Laboratories for Magnetron Support

As a vacuum tube manufacturer, we support you after the sale with answers to technical questions and help with warranty claims. If you need parts for other equipment, our selection of electron tubes for sale also includes triodes, tetrodes, and thyratrons.

To request a quote, send us your part number, quantity, and required delivery date. Our specialists will help identify suitable magnetron tubes and confirm pricing and availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone wondering where to find a magnetron can source one from Penta Laboratories. We supply single replacements and multiple-unit orders for equipment owners, service companies, and OEMs.

No. CW magnetrons deliver continuous output, while pulsed magnetrons produce short bursts of power. Their power supply and operating requirements differ, so one cannot directly replace the other.

Industrial magnetron prices vary too widely to provide a realistic quote without information on your specific needs. If you contact us, we will be happy to discuss.

A compatible current-production model, unused older stock, or a rebuilt tube may be suitable. We check discontinued part references and available alternatives to help identify a replacement for your equipment.
